Phonics

We follow the Read Write Inc phonics scheme of work. We regularly assess pupil progress and areas for development. We use this information to put pupils into phonics groups according to the phase in which they are working, rather than by their age group. This allows our pupils to access the specialist support they need to develop their reading and writing skills
